This status of the account is also referred to as a dormant account. In this guide of mine, I will tell you how you can reactivate dormant account in Saraswat Bank account.
You can not reactivate your account online. The only method is offline in which the account holder has to submit a written request to the bank.
The bank may ask you the reason why you had not used the account for a period of time. You have to ensure that you will continue using the account further to avoid further deactivations.
Steps to Reactivate Dormant Account in Saraswat Bank
Follow the instructions given below.
- Take a sheet of paper.
- Start writing an application letter.
- The letter should address the branch manager of your Saraswat Bank home branch.
- Mention the subject of the letter as “Reactivation of Dormant Account”.
- In the body part of the letter mention your name and bank account number.
- Further, explain that you want to continue using the account.
- Get a clear photocopy of any of your identity proof documents.
- Sign the photocopy to make it self-attested.
- Visit your Saraswat Bank home branch and submit the application to the bank officials.
