These days almost all companies and banks have referral programs for their account holders. In this article, we will discuss how the refer and earn program of SBI Card works.
If you own an SBI Credit Card then you might have come across the “Refer and Earn” option in the settings menu of the SBI Card app.
With the help of this option, you can earn rewards by referring the people you know to the SBI Card company. There is a lot of confusion among people about this program. So I decided to write an article explaining how this works.
How does this Program of Refer and Earn Works in SBI Card?
This program of the SBI Card aims to get new customers with the help of existing customers. Now I am a customer and I hold an SBI Credit Card.
I will not tell you about the company and tell you to apply for a credit card if you wish. (with your full consent) And based on my words you will apply for one.
Once the card is approved and you make your first transaction using your SBI Credit Card. Both of us you and I will earn a gift voucher of Rs. 500.
The transaction of your which I am talking about should be of more than Rs. 500. This is how the program works and is quite good if you have people who are looking for a credit card.
What I have explained to you here are the general things that you should know. But other than these things there is 6 pages long PDF document that lists all the terms and conditions that are applied.
If you wish you can read the document in the SBI Card app. To read the document follow this path. Open the SBI Card App → Refer and Earn → Terms and Conditions.
What are the Modes of Referal that Can be Used?
There are 3 modes of referral and they are as explained below.
1. Share the Referee Details
Here you will have to provide the details of your friend or family member whom you have referred. The details you will be asked to enter are the first and last name, email id, and the mobile number of the referee.
2. Send an Invite with Referal URL
If you use this mode then you will be given a unique URL with your referral code. You can share the URL via WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook, Telegram, etc.
3. Sharing Referal Code
You can find your unique referral code in the app. The person whom you are referring to has to enter this code while filling out the application form for the new credit card.
Conclusion
This is how the refer and earn program of SBI Card works. For more information refer to the terms and conditions document or call the customer care of the company.
