Methods to Stop Cheque Payment in Saraswat Bank

Using the GoMo Mobile Banking Application
- Download and install the official mobile banking application i.e. GoMo Mobile Banking.
- If you are an Android user then you can install it from Google PlayStore.
- And in case you are an iOS user then you can install it from iTunes Store.
- Once installed open the application.
- Enter your login credentials (Username and Password)
- Tap on Services.
- Select the Stop Payment of Cheque option.
- Enter the details of the cheque you want to stop.
- And follow the on-screen instructions given to you on the screen.
By Sending SMS
- Type an SMS as STOPCHQ <space> 15 Digits Account Number <space> Cheque Number.
- And send it to 9223810000 from your registered mobile number.
By Visting Home Branch
- Visit the home branch of Saraswat Bank where you maintain your bank account.
- Talk with the bank officials and tell them that you want to stop the payment of the cheque.
- You have to prove your identity by showing any identity proof document. (PAN Card or Aadhaar Card)
- Provide the cheque number.
- And the officials will stop the payment.
If you are sending an SMS to stop the payment then make sure you send it from your registered mobile number only. And you can stop the payment of the cheque only before it has been encashed. Once it is encashed there is no meaning in stopping the payment and you will not be able to do it.

This is how you can stop the cheque payment in Saraswat Bank. When you instruct the bank to stop the payment, the cheque which you have issued will be dishonored by the bank.
