Before we proceed that it is important for us to understand the difference between changing the password and resetting the password.
When to use the reset password option?
You can use this option when you don’t remember your Internet banking password and wish to set up the new one.
And when to use the change password option?
You can use the change your password option when you know your current password but want to set a new one.
There are some requisites to reset your SBM Bank internet banking password and they are,
- Login ID.
- Registered mobile number.
- Date of birth of the account holder.
- PAN Card or Passport details.
- And your registered email ID.
- Visit the official website of SBM Bank.
- Click on the “Login” button.
- The Internet banking login page will be opened, click on the “Forgot Password” option.
- Enter your Login ID, registered mobile number with country code, date of birth, and registered email ID.
- Now choose between PAN Card and Password from the drop-down menu and enter the details of the selected document.
- Click on the “Submit” button.
- The bank will send you an OTP on your registered mobile number as well as your mobile number.
- Enter the OTP and click on the “Submit” below the OTP field.
- The password will be reset and will be sent via SMS and email.
