Before you enable the contactless payments of your debit card. I recommend you to know one thing. And that is when you enable this feature of your card. Your card can be used for making payments without entering the PIN number.
The maximum amount of transaction that can be done using tap and pay of Fi Money debit card is Rs. 5,000. So when this channel of payment is enabled you have to keep your card safely with you. If you lose your card somewhere then it can be very easily misused by anyone.
In such situations, you should immediately block your card to avoid any possible unauthorized transactions using your card. If you are worried about charges that you might be asked to pay extra to enable contactless payments. Then let me tell you that Fi Money or Federal Bank will not charge you anything extra for enabling tap and pay.
- Open the Fi Money app.
- Login to your account.
- Tap on the “Debit Card Icon” on the top left corner of the app.
- Select “Card Settings” → “Card Usage”.
- Toggle the button of Contactless payments to enable it.
- Enter your secure PIN and tap on the “Submit” button to save the settings.
The contactless payments or tap and pay will be enabled in a few minutes. And you will receive a confirmation SMS from your registered mobile number.
