UPI has changed the way we Indians make and receive digital payments. These days almost all the traditional banks and the neo banks are part of this system. Fi Money is one among them. This means you can send money using your Fi Money account and also receive money. (via UPI) In this guide, I will tell you how you can view and share your Fi Money account UPI QR Code.
There are two ways you can receive money into your Fi Money account using UPI. The first one is by sharing your Fi Money UPI ID. And the second method is using your UPI QR Code. Here I am referring to the QR Code that is generated by the official app of Fi Money. There is nothing you have to do to generate this as it is automatically generated by the application.
How Can I View and Share My UPI QR Code Linked with My Fi Money Account?
- Open the Fi Money App.
- Login to your account.
- Tap on your “Profile Picture” on the left top corner of the app interface.
- Then tap on the “QR Icon” on the right top corner to view your UPI QR Code.
- Select the “Share” option to send the QR code as an image to anyone.
Here you should know about two things that can help you improve the utility of this QR code. The first thing is you can save the QR Code as an image locally on your smartphone. Later you can get the same code printed if you wish.
The second thing is you can also set the amount of money you wish to request using this QR Code. When you set the amount it will automatically be read by the UPI-enable apps.
In order to set the amount tap on the “Set Amount” button. Enter the amount, and tap on the “Done” button. Please make sure that you don’t save the QR code with the pre-set amount.
The reason is whenever the QR of the pre-set amount is scanned by anyone. The same amount of money will be read by the UPI-enabled apps.
Please be very careful while you approve UPI payment requests. Never approve the requests which you can not identify.
You should also keep in mind that this is not the only way you can view your UPI QR code. You can use any of your favorite UPI-enabled apps like Paytm, PhonePe, etc.
To do it you should first link your account to the UPI app. And then view or share your QR Code.
