Before we get into editing the added account. We have to understand what are the details that are involved. So let me list down the details for you.
- Beneficiary’s Name as per the bank.
- Bank account number.
- IFSC Code.
- And account nickname.
Other than the account nickname all three details are sensitive hence the bank does not allow you to edit the name, account number, and the IFSC Code.
You can only edit the account nickname and give it a new name once the account has been added.
What to do if the name, account number, or IFSC code is wrong?
