Paytm lets you transfer money from your wallet if you have completed the KYC procedure. And also from your payments bank account if you have opened one. But to transfer the money you have to add the beneficiary account. And once you are done with the transfer. You also have an option to delete beneficiary in Paytm.
It is always recommended that you add the account as a beneficiary before you initiate the money transfer. And most of the time when you transfer money from your wallet. As you enter the account details it will be automatically added as a beneficiary.
Steps to Delete Beneficiary in Paytm
Follow the instructions given below.
- Download and Install the official app of Paytm.
- Open the app after installation.
- Login to your account by entering your registered mobile number.
- Once you log in tap on the “Paytm Bank” icon.
- Enter your passcode.
- Tap on “Profile” on the right upper corner of the interface.
- Now select the “Beneficiaries” option.
- Select the beneficiary account that you want to delete.
- After selecting the account tap on the three dots.
- Select the “Delete” option.
- At the end tap on the “Yes, Delete Beneficiary” button to confirm your action.
Conclusion
If you still see the beneficiary account in the list. Refresh the screen and it will be gone from the list. Don’t share your account details, password, OTP, etc. with anyone.
