The process to Close State Bank of India Credit Card
Follow the instructions given below.
- Check the status of your State Bank of India credit card. (Active or Blocked)
- Check and pay the pending dues of your primary card and add-on card (if any)
- Redeem your reward points.
- Request for a credit refund if you have an excess balance on your card. (more than your credit limit)
- Now contact SBI Card by calling the customer care on 1860 180 1290.
- Wait till your call is connected with the support executive of SBI Card.
- Tell the executive that you want to close your credit card.
- The executive will take your request for closure.
- Note down your service request number for future reference and to check the status of your request.

It is recommended that you redeem all the reward points that you have in your credit card account. Because once your card is closed your points will be of no use.
